Ladies Open Thursday 16 May 2024

The ladies committee would like to congratulate all our winners and are delighted to announce that a home team came first out of 17 teams, who endured the weather conditions on Thursday. Congratulations to Pat Roberts, Jo Smith, Beth Smith and to the second and third placed teams who also had club members.

A special thank you to Anna Berwick who organised the event, ably assisted on the day by Jan with plenty of behind the scenes help especially from Sarah Swain and hospitality staff. 

A big thank you to Adrian Flavell Senior Captain and Brian Jones Vice Captain who gave all our teams a great send off on the first tee.

We had numerous comments about our lovely course so many thanks to the green keeping team who continue to do an amazing job.

We are delighted to have raised further funds to boost our Lady Captain Jeanette Mason's charity appeal for Midland Air Ambulance.

Amazing endurance from all the ladies who persevered in such awful rain during the afternoon.

We look forward to welcoming you to our open next year hopefully in sunny conditions.
